If you're looking for something to do this summer, STEM Innovators is holding a summer camp for students!

It's completely virtual and is 2 hours a week of live teaching a week aside from any office hours that may be held. However, you will have to make sure to answer any questions students may have.

If you have a younger sibling at home who is bored at home, we have the perfect opportunity for them!

STEM Innovators is holding a free online Young Innovators Lab camp every Tuesday from June 30th to August 5th for rising 4th graders to rising 8th graders. Students will explore a new science topic every week and will spend the last 2 sessions getting mentored to develop a digital project related to one of the covered topics.

We are opening a new opportunity for high school students to be a student judges at our monthly presentation events with some updated information! DM us if you are interested :)

What our monthly presentations are:
- middle school student present about a STEM topic
- they get advice on their presenting skills!

Responsibilities of a student judge:
- use a rubric to grade students
- write personal notes with what they did well + areas of improvement
- attend a training meeting beforehand (for first-time judges or if an experienced judge wants a recap!)
-attend a 2 hour presentation session on the last Friday of the month (you do not need to come every month dw)
- attend a judging congregation within 48 hours of the presentation to finish judging presentations

Whether you are into STEM or not, this provides you an opportunity to expand your leadership skills. DM as soon as possible to grab your spot on our panel.

Calling all 4th-7th graders (or if you have a child/sibling in those grades of course)!

STEM Innovators is back with more events! We will be starting a new weekly event called “socials.” In these sessions, we investigate a STEM-related topic as a group. Then, students are divided into breakout rooms to discuss a prompt related to what was taught, where our supervisors will be regularly checking in to monitor. Finally, everyone comes together to discuss their findings/investigation and participates in a relevant game.

It is the perfect opportunity for students to learn academically and build essential life skills, such as communication, leadership, and thoughtful analysis.
